Do you relate to your Zodiac sign?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for October 04, 2007:
In short - yes.
However, I do believe that recognised characteristics depend on a combination of environmental stimulus upon the individual and upon the interpretations of onlookers. I was born under the sun sign of Taurus, so, I could be:
Slow, or paced and steady
Quiet, or silent and contemplative
Stubborn, or resolute and strong willed
Lazy, or enjoying rest and repose
Uncommunicative, or focussed on what I am doing
Weird, or without pretense and non-conformist
In the west, we readily think about the sun sign when talking about zodiac signs. But, I have learned that we are also affected by other planetary influences, such as the Moon, Venus, Jupiter and others depending on their positions at the time of our birth.
