About Me:
I stumbled upon Zaadz quite by accident whilst surfing another website. My decision to become a member was instant when I saw your adage: “Be the change that you want.”
I usually write privately about my observations, thoughts and feelings on any subject of issue to me. Your ‘Q&R' is a great opportunity to extend that beyond the personal and share support, empowerment and inspiration with other like-minded individuals. There's a lot to be said for interacting with people who share common interests. One of the things I do after submitting my response to a ‘Q&R' is to read through the responses given by other members. It is great to discover a whole host of people who think along the same lines, and who in their lives practice activities for the continued positive development and strengthening of their inner worlds.
”..I am thankful for a loving God who meets me at the point of my needs, bringing healing, restoration and salvation. Happy thanksgiving to you all..”
I love the quotes that I subscribe to, especially ones by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
I have recently taken up FX Spot trading, which I am very optimistic about. In the main, I have been demo-trading and improving upon the trading system that I developed. I expect to recommence live trading before the end of January of 2008. I had always been a hoarder and harboured a quiet interest in ways to make money work for itself. However, self-application towards this required both the opportunity and means to present themselves, and, work hand in hand. This happened after I was sacked from my last job and career as a Business Analyst back in February of this year. With a bit of money put aside, a laptop and access to the internet, I have been able to concentrate time and effort towards learning this amazing skill.
Although, I expect a great deal out of myself and strive to reach the highest level in anything I do I hate competiveness, or being controlled, or being pressured in any form, and would tend to just ignore or remove myself. I cannot abide by any system that takes away ownership from the individual their free flowing form and makes them dependent on a superficial infrastructure for measuring and deciding their self-worth or value.
My heroes are people who learn from their experiences and continue to work towards living in accord with their true nature, also, will exercise moral courage even if that means not being in with the clique, or in crowd.
Patient by nature, I used to say: “In due course…” In response to this a former boss would always retort: “By the time your course is due, other students would have taken their exams and graduated from their own courses.” Now I say: “There's no rush…” I am decisive once I know what to decide and feel that the time is right to take action.
I have burned a lot of bridges, yet following these would emerge a clearer picture of my true nature and the more purposeful I felt as an individual. I was free to get in touch with myself a little, and to reach higher. I have need for solitude, but that does not mean that I should be excluded. I have a keen ear for music, great culinary skills and have created my own recipes for food and drink (non-alcoholic), which I am proud to show off to guests. Also, I have watched my dreams and things that I worked towards not transpire into what I originally hoped for, yet at those times of great disappointment I would get a sense of reassurance a knowing that I was going to be all right. This happened back in February and come June I had begun working earnestly towards a future as a FX Spot Trader.
I have learned a lot about myself including a tendency that I have worked very hard to curtail of absorbing the emotional needs of other people and then feeling them as if they were my own, and worst, responding to them in the same way becoming what they needed. I have learned to trust my intuition more and grown more rooted within myself, and therefore more able to keep my peace and contentment even in the midst of chaos.
Peace to you all :-)
